8 Signs you’re thinking strong:
- BEING RESPECTFUL: To be kind and respectful to some may mean you’re a pushover or a people pleaser. Showing compassion or helping someone takes courage. You may not get help back or that person may say they don’t want help. Strong individuals take those risks.
- ACKNOWLEDGING YOUR WEAKNESS: That does not mean putting yourself down but speaking the truth. you’re just admitting your strong enough to admit your imperfections or weakness to take positive action to develop a plan.
- BEING PATIENT: The patient is often confused with inactivity or a lack of ambition. Emphasis on “hustle” “give that 110%” is all around us. The truth of reaching big goals-like going back to school, getting out of debt, or getting in shape takes time and patient. Change doesn’t happen overnight so exercising the patience to get there takes strength.
- ASKING FOR HELP: Saying “I can’t do this on my own” is a real act of courage. Asking for help requires humility and strength of character.
- FAILING: Making mistakes and failing means you’re challenging yourself..a sign of strength. View failures as evidence you’re stretching yourself as far as you can.
- EXPRESSING EMOTIONS: Showing emotion, being passionate, understanding admitting pain your dealing with is strength.
- WALKING AWAY: It takes strength to step away from something that isnt working out-especially when you’ve devoted a lot of resources to a task (or a person). By walking awaymight show your willing to act in accordance with your values. Your not copping out your respecting yourself, “I need Space” “I need to see how I feel” You will be surprised of the strength it gives you.
- IMPROVING YOURSELF: Trying to become a better person shows you want to create positive change in your life. For example a job change, spiritual retreats, therapy, a new exercise class, different friends. The list goes on.

MY EXAMPLE:
I needed a change, I needed to strengthen myself. I always knew I was good in the creative arts, music singing, piano but over the years somehow I let people make me feel otherwise. I was starving. I moved temporary to a big city that had a conservatory of music and auditioned for the womens vocal group.
OH MY!! I GOT IN my life has been changing every since. You never know.
