GOING FORWARD -KEEP THE FOCUS POSITIVE
Here are 4 ideas to keep a positive outlook approaching our shift back to work, school and leaving summer break.
1. START A GRATITUDE JOURNEL. There is so much to be grateful for in life so why not remind yourself of that on a daily basis. Heading back to work, school, moving etc. after summer. We may feel it be overwhelming during these days. What I have done to help me is post a favorite beautiful moment on home screen of my phone, as you can see above. Just this simple picture can remind me of good times. Another is I have taken the picture printed it out and cut to fit size in my journal and literally write about it. So choosing lets say that beautiful moment now. Go forth looking for the good things in your day or situations, what can I learn and what small step can I reach out with.
2. DONT GIVE UP OR IN-BE TRUE TO YOURSELF. Name two core values about yourself. Stick with that in your day. Mine is Caring and Beauty. If my day is or seems like it s going dark. Think what a opportunity. Right easier said than done, but it is true “It is always darkest before the dawn”. Placing the above picture in my journal and writing about is a reminder. Think about it. What values do you want to hold true to today?
3. DONT FORGET ABOUT YOUR PHYSICAL SELF. Self care is a big message today. Remeber this word SEE, Sleep, Eat. Exercise. Keeping this area of my life requires a maintenance plan. Follow balancenstrength, it is about maintaining just that, balance within self.
4. DONT LET IDEALS RUIN THINGS. Just remember “there are billions of people in this world, my friend. Please dont let one ruin your day. Start with self look into a mirror and smile, give yourself a self hug
