FOUR STEPS:
FOR EXAMPLE PILATES. This is what I am all about.
1. WHAT IS PILATES ALL ABOUT? Lets start with an educational class. This learners style class might last 45 minutes starting with Pilates basic exercises, and the education on how to do them. This could be an ongoing 1x month educational class in addition to a regular Pilates classes.
For Example: Lets say once/month there was an educational class. In this class we would
take 3 Pilates exercises and break it down to learn just exactly whats going on. You may take notes,
and you will have one on one instruction and there can be questions and answers at the end.
2. IMPLEMENT 1 or 2 exercises every day or every other day until your body and mind feel adjusted.
For Example: Pilates Roll Up, first know this is a curl, round of the spine, and snug engagement of the abdominals with back muscles to form the beginnings of the roll up. You will be guided as how to perform this. Next you will know the exercise and how to perform it and use it several days per week. Pilates Hundred do exactly what you need to do for the roll up, add the vigoursly pumping of the arms using the breathing exercises, Inhale for 5 Exhale 5 for total of 100.
3. NUTRITION sneak in 1 food that will be added or deleted from your diet/day.
For Example: Eliminate 1 sugary drink, muffin etc. add a fruit, energy bar with water. This is a small change but small changes could be a start. Do this for 1 week or 2. Check back in to see if you feel or notice a difference. If that seems to be working try just one more deletion and addition of one food.
4. REST/SLEEP sneak in a 10 min DO NOTHING break, a fun moment, a snooze each day and a solid time to be in bed for sleep.
For Example: mid-morning watch a funny u-tube, call a friend, set up a lunch break. Maybe take 2 afternoon breaks, plan up a fun meal for dinner. Set a reasonable time to prepare for bed, warm bath, turn off TV, phones, PCs, cool enviroment, fresh air, lights low and lights off when asleep.
REMEMBER A TINY CHANGE CAN GO ALONG WAY.
…. Prepare your self set new things up ……. ONE TING AT A TIME .. ONE DAY AT A TIME
