Understanding Purpose, taking it one day at at time. Risk Free! That’s enough, Right?
PART 1
LIFE PURPOSE More than just a definition.
Your life purpose consists of the central motivating aims of your life – the reasons you get up in the morning. That’s a start!!
5 Views to consider as we view Purpose:
1. Purpose can be a life decisions guide therefore, influencing behavior, shaping goals, in order
to offer a sense of direction, and create meaning.
2. Purpose can be the connection to a vocation – meaningful, satisfying work.
3. Purpose maybe in responsibilities to their family or friends.
4. Purpose may come through spirituality or religious beliefs.
5. Some people may find their purpose clearly expressed in ALL these aspect.
Purpose will be unique for everyone; what you identify as your path may be different from others. [Be aware of others who have the need to control or manipulate].Whats more, your purpose can actually shift and change throughout life response to evolving priorities and fluctuations of your own experiences.
KEY: Recognize your gifts, own them and PLEASE contribute. WE NEED YOU.
PART 2
RISK FREE
There is no life life purpose being you without some element of risk. Life is much more than staying alive, ITS ABOUT LIVING.
4 views to consider taking Risk:
1. Hysteria (anxiety) with reason is really an opportunity to get comfortable with being uncomfortable.
There is no such thing as a perfect ending, life has a dual nature about it. Interesting, as a Pilates instructor who is always observing our body design and alignment I have thought Life itself is perfect because of the design each of us has. Because of these (some thinking imperfect), Im saying imperfect to what? Its all of this that makes life perfect, whole, human beings being real.
2. Embrace life or we continue living a sheltered, filtered existence. The choice should come back to you, the individual – having a FREE will, without imposition. No one gets to live forever, not in this life. Reconciling with this fact is a freeing experience in itself.
3.The spirit of fearlessness allows us to stand up for what’s right despite the possible consequences. We need to understand as much as we can that fear enslaves us and its only this reconciliation that can help set you free.
4. Faith. Having faith to take the risk to trust, and believe that taking that leap without seeing or knowing what is ahead but sensing your hearts will indeed bring some result.
DEFINITION: Faith is an expression of hope for something better. More than a wish, it is closer to a belief, but not quite. A belief is rooted in the mind. Faith is based in the heart. We act in faith when there is no guarantee, no certainty. No one knows what kind of life an infant will have, yet people continue to have faith our relationships will last a lifetime.
Faith then being the language of the heart gives that “LEAP OF FAITH” that takes hope beyond our conscious mind.
All that we hold precious rests upon a faith in people, theirmpotential not yet fulfilled. The evidence of history points us in a different direction-the world is full of ugliness, brutality, and injustices. Yet there is also tenderness, kindness, and concern and that takes the bigger part of our hearts.
Without faith in ourselves, we would hold ourselves cheap, and without faith in others, we could never live as FREE people. THIS IS THE WATER THAT QUENCHES PARCHED SOULS.
Never give up or give in. Rest yes, pause yes but LEAP forward to the new place. As a Pilates instructor working on mat exercises to all the equipment Pilates has us perform on, everyday is anew challenge. Learning new exercises, doing familiar exercise better and deeper and seeing the results of new transformations developing in your body. Just being more mindful, learning new ideas can be that openness to that LEAP forward.
