IF You spent no money this Christmas on a “gift”. What would you give from your heart and soul to others?
First of all I had to scale my list down to nothing. Without the list I felt empty, to only realize I had left my heart and soul out. I encourage us this year to start inside and go out.
You might find the best gift of a lifetime.
Three ways and days of giving from the heart:
1. Atunement. Definition: is kinesthetic and emotional sensing of others knowing their rhythm, affect and experience by metaphorically, being in their skin or being in their shoes, and going beyond empathy to create a two-person experience of unbroken feeling connectedness by providing a reciprocal affect and/or reasoning response.
EXAMPLES:
Eye contact that says,”You matter”; put down the phone, turn off the TV, computer etc.
2. Encouragement. Definition: the action of giving someone support, confidence or hope. We are all special. Be alert and wise when encouragement is not in the environment.
EXAMPLES:
you’re capable, Im glad your here, you got this, keep on trying etc
3. Patience. Definition: the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without losing temper when angry or provoked.
EXAMPLES:
standing patiently peacefully in a long line, steadiness, endurance. Be mindful of things
making you impatient, practice gratitude.
ABOVE ALL ELSE LOVE
Merry Christmas from all of us at balancenstrength
