MY STORY
Lost my position in March due to Covid shutting down group fitness I am associated with. My response was anxiety and fear. Whats next? Feeling lost! Like many of you I feel i have work hard. I have tried to keep up with the demands of life, manage a family and tried to take care of myself. Its never easy and sometimes better than others but recently adding the loss of job, connection with alot of people due to covid, its been harder manage.
Along comes anxiety and fear which gets in the way and managing seems even harder. Here are three signs:
- Tired of overthinking; mind exhaustion
- Irritability from having little energy; trying to manage everthing on your own
- Difficulty sleeping
Three thoughts in dealing with this anxiety and fear:
1. Creating more head space by calmness, clarity by engaging mind /body exercises which may provide a platform for, structure and and a sequence to the overwhelming
2. Improve relationships by communicating with one another abput our issues at hand. Ask for help, and delegate or eliminate
3. Improve sleep, fresh air, new sheets, or sheets and blankets left outside in sunshine.
